About

I started fostering in the fall of 2014. At first I was only fostering single dogs, but that all changed when I brought home a heavily pregnant dog who I named, Dusty. She delivered six puppies and I took care of, and raised this litter until adoptable age. After that, there was no going back and I have been fostering pregnant dogs and litters of puppies ever since. I live in a beautiful little town on six acres, and I usually have at least four litters of puppies a year, plus small litters of just two or so puppies, and strays that show up in my town.

I have learned so much from fostering, and not just about dogs, fostering brings you closer to people as well, helps you learn who you really are, and without a doubt teaches you patience like nothing else can. Fostering has become a big part of my life and I wouldn’t trade if for the world!
